Sisal Fibers
The sisal fibers marketed by APAEB are natural vegetable fibers that have been processed and pressed into 250kg bales for sale. Main Characteristics:
High Strength: It is one of the strongest natural fibers in existence. Therefore, it is ideal for products that need to withstand a lot of weight, traction, and wear.
Durability: It withstands continuous use and deterioration well, although extra care is needed with liquids and moisture;
Rustic and Rough Texture: The fiber is naturally thick and has a texture that provides excellent grip;
Color: It generally has a natural color that varies from light yellow to creamy white;
Sustainability: It is a 100% biodegradable and renewable material that is relatively easy to grow in warm climates, making it an environmentally friendly choice.


Types of Sisal Fibers
Sisal fibers are classified and marketed according to color, level of impurities, and fiber length.
Sisal Type 2DB
Light cream or yellowish color. Fiber with good double beat and long length, with few short fibers (<90cm). Impurity level up to 3%, maximum moisture 14%. Sold in 260kg bales. Generally used in the production of yarns and ropes.


Sisal Type 1DB
White or light cream color. Fiber with good double beat and long length. Impurity level up to 1%, maximum moisture 14%. Sold in 260kg bales. Generally used in the production of carpets and yarns and ropes of greater regularity.


Sisal Type 4DB
Assorted color. Double-beaten fiber. Fiber of varying length. Impurity level up to 10%, maximum moisture 14%. Sold in 260kg bales. Generally used in civil construction and the production of yarns and ropes with greater irregularity.


Sisal Type 3DB
Cream or yellowish color. Fiber with good double beat and long length, with few short fibers (<90cm). Impurity level up to 5%, maximum moisture 14%. Sold in 260kg bales. Generally used in the production of agricultural yarns.


Sisal Bushing Type
Varied color, usually cream or light brown. Finer fibers, short length, and high dust content. Maximum moisture content 14%. Sold in 120kg bales. Commonly used in construction (mainly with plaster) and cleaning.


Sisal Waste Type
Assorted colors. Double-beaten fiber. Fiber of varying lengths. High level of impurities and a maximum moisture content of 14%. Sold in 260kg bales. Commonly used in construction and the production of shredded sponges.


Sisal Plugs
To better serve the end consumer, Sisal Sponges are also sold in smaller packages. They are mainly used for cleaning floors and tiles, plaster repairs, and general crafts.
Maximum level of impurities: 10%. Composition: 100% sisal fiber.

Product with 1,200kg/m²; Warp yarn: 38 threads 500/1; Warp yarn: 27 threads 700/1; Composition: 100% sisal fiber; Variation allowed in measurements and data of up to 5%.


Sisal Mesh 01
Product with a density of 1.300 kg/m²; Warp yarn: 38 threads 530/1; Weft yarn: 27 threads 530/1; Composition: 100% sisal fiber; Variation in measurements and data of up to 5% is permitted.








Product with 1,200kg/m²; Warp yarn: 38 threads 500/1; Warp yarn: 27 threads 700/1; Composition: 100% sisal fiber; Variation allowed in measurements and data of up to 5%.
